NFT Collectibles

Handmates NFT is fronted by a team of childhood friends with a passion for art and creativity, with community at the core of everything we do. Handmates 1.0 are original works of handmade art, drawn by our artist TIB, who has a rich and diverse background in creative projects.

By developing our 5K generative project for Handmates 2.0, we hope to bring new people into the NFT world with our pieces, providing them handmade, high-quality work at an accessible price, that is still made with love.

Wen Mint?

Our genesis collection is composed of 1/1 hand drawn pieces that are available either on Opensea secondary sales, or by playing our community games and challenges that are held on Twitter and Discord. These will always be announced before they happen to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to take part.

Handmates 2.0, is a 5k generative project that will be launching this Spring. Holding a genesis Handmate entitles you to a free mint of Handmates 2.0 and a spot on our pre sale list. If you want to know more about minting your own Handmate, give us any ideas or suggestions, or just want to meet the community, stop by our Twitter or Discord

TIB

You ask me why I chose hands? Well, I always have them with me, and I can see them anytime I have doubts!

Our Team

We were born in Rome, in the same neighbourhood. We first met 30 years ago at school, when we were kids, and we have been friends ever since. We’ve lived many different lives since then, we’ve been travellers, musicians, artists, video makers, sound engineers, craftsmen and teachers. We’ve shared a huge part of our lives, we know everything about each other, we are a team, we are a family.

TIB Bio

I was born in Rome. I grew up surrounded by history and monuments, not far from the other Handmates. When we were kids, we probably used to go to the same parks and cross the same roads, somehow without ever meeting. I loved to draw and design objects, vehicles and cities, and I started diving into the world of comics. As soon as I could I took a course in comic art, and once it was over, I began studying Design at University.
There, I had the chance to meet so many people with whom I shared an affinity for art. So a small group of us opened up a bookshop next to the Colosseum with a space for exhibitions, cultural workshops and where we could host artists from the rising Street Art movement of Rome.
That’s when I first met Wenreveal.
During those years I joined a graffiti crew, and we eventually ended up moving from the wall, into doing handmade silk screen printing on t-shirts with our drawings. It was from one of those artworks that the first Handmate was born. I was looking for something with different possible interpretations, something that would be challenging – that would make people stop and think.

After all of that, I worked in the sectors of music videos, brand design, and on the digitalisation of archaeological heritage in Rome. Right now, I’m working as a full time UI/UX designer.
I like my job, but it’s hard to fit my personal projects in with office hours, I barely have any free time for woodworking. I hadn’t been drawing for ages when Wenreveal talked me into introducing my old “Hands” project to the NFT world, of which he is a full-time investor. I immediately accepted: I always wanted to give a second life to this project.
Everything you will see is a beautiful personal challenge to get back to a part of my life I have overlooked for too long, all these hands symbolize my return to craftsmanship. I have always chosen not to enter social media platforms of any kind. That means that I would never have been able to share my works if I hadn’t had the Handmates team by my side, taking care of the technical and social aspect of this project.
